WORLDAC has regional chapters and a presence in several locations around the world to facilitate its international accreditation process.

WORLDAC has established chapters to strengthen and uphold quality standards for traditional and non-traditional educational institutions and corporations across the globe. WORLDAC’s team includes experts who possess in-depth knowledge of regional education and business systems, allowing them to address the specific needs and dynamics of various regions effectively.

These chapters are responsible for organizing seminars, webinars, workshops, panels, conferences, and expos that help WORLDAC serve educational institutions and other stakeholders in specific regions.

Scope

WORLDAC is a non-governmental, independent, and international quality assurance, rating, certification, and accreditation Council committed to improving the quality assurance standards of educational organizations globally, with a particular focus on World. Through its global network of experts, WORLDAC grants accreditation to universities, colleges, schools, educational institutions, vocational institutions, distance learning centers, online courses, and corporations; and provides professional certification to professionals, qualified individuals, instructors, and students.

WORLDAC provides institutional accreditation for organizations whose primary function is education as well as for organizations offering education as an identified institutional objective within their operational structure, such as in-service corporate training. WORLDAC accreditation extends to educational institutions offering programs at locations other than their main headquarters, provided specific conditions and controls are met. WORLDAC can accredit all education and training organizations and programs worldwide. Institutions that may be eligible for accreditation include:

  • Universities and Higher Education Institutions,
  • Educational Institutes and Vocational Institutions,
  • Public or Private Colleges and Schools,
  • Distance Learning Centers and Online Courses,
  • Trade and Professional Council,
  • Private Career/Business Schools,
  • Corporate Training Departments,
  • Intensive Language Programs,
  • Trade and Professional Councils Training Programs,
  • Religious Organizations and Ethical Societies,
  • For-profit or Non-profit Agencies, Councils, and Organizations,
  • Public Affairs and Cultural Societies,
  • Social Service, Volunteer, and Personal Development Organizations.

Like other legally established accrediting organizations, WORLDAC does not grant academic credit or any other unit of educational measurement. Academic credits can only be granted by educational institutions licensed or chartered to do so by federal or state governments. Additionally, the transferability of academic credit between institutions is at the sole discretion of the institutions directly involved and is usually arranged through formal articulation agreements.
